My opinions don’t count (per wife). Remember silver is going up= A lot because of China, India, Asia and the U.S. industrial demand through 2015, reported by the non-profit org. the Silver Institute. Industrial uses of silver should rise sharply over the next five years to 667 million troy ounces by 2015 My $64.00 prediction above is low = I just read: Based on history and the dismal US dollar, silver prices could reach $150 to $250 per ounce this year, predicted by Money Morning. General Info about me and my items and terms of sale. Note; I’m retired and dumping everything I own over the next few years = I ship within 1 day of cleared payment but never over 2 day’s. 1.= As a rule; Coins look better then my Pictures. 2. = My Coins were bought between 1958 to 1965. Every year since the 1920s my Dad bought & saved a few new Coins & added them to his stockpile. My Uncle saved Coins for a rainy day as well. In reality, none of us were Coin collector per say, but my family all liked Silver and saved many forms of it, if it was made of Silver and any of us had the extra bucks, we bought it and saved it. Silver was always pretty, worthless (cheap to buy) and at the same time listed as a precious metal. 3. = All 1964 Coins were bought during 1964 as Bank Mint/Uncirculated Rolls . During 1964, everyone in my family went nuts buying because 1964 was the last year of .90% Silver. Looking back, we should have bought a 1964 Buick & stored it! ! ! 4. = all other Coin dates were collected during the past 50+ years or so. 5. = I do not grade Coins. I do have opinions. Most all of the Coins were graded prior to 1966 by Dealers/Experts, not PCGS, as a matter of fact, there were no privately owned grading services before 1984 (NCI) then in 1986 PCGS was Incorporated, then came others. Now that I’m writing this and thinking about it, I do remember, my Dad was quite the expert regarding the Sheldon’s Scale and talked about it often in my early years and now thanking about it, it was my Dad who talked my Uncle into putting away and saving Coins. In other words, most all grading on my Coins would have come from Dealers/Experts on the most part prior to 1966 when we (my Uncle & myself) put the Coins in air tight and clean containers, we acted separately but about the same time period, however, my Dad did believe in storing & labeling everything as far back as I can remember, he was a very meticulous person. Everything had its place, cleaned, dust free and even air tight, let it be nut‘s, screw‘s, tool‘s, whatever. My Dad even sealed the Kitchen cabinets & drawers.
