Set of Five Jefferson Nickels, 1940-1948 all are war nickels with 35% silver. 1943 D-Mirror like shine on front and back. Great hair and details. Five steps. A very nice old coin! A war nickel with 35% silver. 1944 S-Shiny on both sides. Hair a little worn by temple. A very small scratch by jaw. Not five steps. A war nickel with 35% silver. 1944 S-Shiny bright on both sides. Hair a little worn by temple. Starting to tone around the rim. I can see a few steps, but not five across. 35% silver, war nickel. 1945 P-Very shiny on both sides. Hair great. There is a little dark spot over the 4 in "1945". Not five steps. Has 35% silver as is a war nickel. 1945 P-Shiny on both sides with some toning starting. Hair is great as well as all detail. Not five steps. Has 35% silver. Each coin is wrapped separately to decrease chances of scratching. These coins are over 60 years old and have been in my private collection for years. But I need to move so I am selling these so some one else can enjoy them. They will be fantastic to help fill holes or upgrade your collection. Payment is expected within five days at end of auction.
