Lot of 3 - Cyanotype Real Photo Post Cards of MUIR GLACIER, ALASKA 3 nice images of Muir Glacier, Alaska, circa 1930s. Cyanotypes are an alternative photo process that are relatively rare as they are not mass produced, but hand made one at a time by placing photo paper in contact with an original negative and left in the sun for perhaps 10 to 20 minutes while the paper is printed out then developed to a final image using, I believe, a citric acid and a green oxide developer to tone the final print. One image shows the glacier, the other two show ice bergs in the bay. Shipped via USPS First Class mail in the U.S. with careful packing and handling. Image will be packed between stiffeners in a heavy vinyl top load image holder. I combine images purchased from the same week's listing - please wait for my invoice showing discounted shipping. I send out invoices within 24 hours of end of auction. Pay Pal accepted. If you have questions, please ask before bidding.
