This Lot consists of 6 Hand Carved Oaxaca Mexican Folk Art PiecesIt is a shame that these pieces are in need of some TLC and repairs to the various Wings, Horns and parts of Outer pieces core... This Lot does have four pieces signed by Artists who made these incredibly elaborate and decorative parts of Mexican History. We believe after talking with previous owners daughter that these pieces were acquired prior to final trip in 1980. Signatures on bottom include what appear to be "something something" Vazquez on what looks like a bull of sorts although highly decorated & a Candido Ortego Mendes = found on largest piece... Pepe Santigo on the twisted spotted smaller lizard. You get : 1.Cactus w/ Humingbirds Flowers and a Cool looking blue bug - this has a couple pedals to glue on ... Looks Incredible with skilled detail - all do for that matter.2. Some sort of small highly exaggerated Lizard / Horned Frog - Indian Diety perhaps? 3. A Horned Bull 4. Some sort of one piece twisted neck Lizard 5. LARGE Winged Anteater Looking Dragon ... This is approx. 12 inches high sitting without counting its tale...These Pieces have small pieces and larger Wings etc. that came unglued as shown in photo and need to be reattached... I don't have a clue what the Lot should go for so we are just going to list it as $100 and offer a Best Offer for consideration.
