Lot of two antique cast iron spanish galleon doorstops: 1. Spanish Galleon Doorstop: blue base. 5 5/8 inches tall, 7 1/4 inches wide and 2 inches deep. 2 lbs. 6 oz. Gold paint on back. Great condition. What appears to be paint chips in photo are actually gold paint accents. 2. Spanish Galleon Doorstop: green base. 6 inches tall, 5 1/2 inches wide and 1 5/8 inches deep. 1 lb. 9 oz. Great condition. This doorstop was made by Connecticut Foundry, Rocky Hill, Connecticut c. 1928. Connecticut Foundry made doorstops in the 1920s and early 1930s. This doorstop is impressed "SPANISH GALLEON COPR 1928" and has the foundry mark which is a C inside a triangle inside a circle. See last photo. Both doorstops are guaranteed antique and all original.
