Up for bid is this lot of Four Yankee North Brothers Philadelphia extension ratchet screwdrivers. One of them is No. 20-1 and it only will ratchet clockwise or tighten. It has no lockdown so it always extends too. It is not broke that is the way it was designed. It measures 8 inches and extends four inches from that. It has a standard slotted end. W as the second one the #135 locks down and also extends both clockwise for tightening and counter clockwise for taking out a screw. It has a phillips head end on it. It is also 8 inches long and extends 3 and 1/4 from that. The screwdriver interior goes all the way through the wood handle and has an inlay metal screw at the top of the handle giving it further strength. The third is also a #135. It has three pat. dates on it of April 16, 1895-Nov. 2, 1897, Sept 5, 1899- Oct. 9, 1900, and finally May 1, 1906- Nov. 6, 1908. It works but not well like the others so is sold as is. It measures 8 and 1/4 inches and extends 3 and 1/4 inches with a slotted bit. It also has and interior design that goes all the way through the handle for further strength. The fourth Yankee is a # 33 H HANDYMAN. It does not lock down by design but extends clockwise and or counter clockwise. It is another little cutie measuring 5 and 1/2 inches in length and extends 2 inches with a slotted bit. Again if calculated
