Here is an early and extremely rare, pontil marked cure bottle from Philadelphia. It is embossed "LOUDEN & C OS CURE FOR PILES" - "PHILAD A". It measures about 6 3/4" tall, 2 3/4" wide & 1 1/4" thick. The condition is excellent with no chips, cracks or repairs and a quite whittled texture. There are a couple of light scratches, (one notably to the left of the letter P in Piles), and some very light wear. I believe this bottle was lightly, professionally tumbled by the previous owner.
