Lovely Periwinkle Marble St Joseph Oratorio Rosary+Case Check out my other items ! The pictures don't begin to capture the light and shine of this gorgeous vintage 5-decade rosary. It is made of mid-toned long periwinkle marbled glass beads that measure 1/8 inch wide and 1/2 inch long. The decades are separated by round marbled beads that measure about 1/4 inch across. The front of the round goldtone intermediary medal bears the image of the Mater Dolorosa, with a starburst aura. The reverse bears the image of The Sacred Heart of Jesus, along with a French bidding prayer. The medal measures 1/2 inch across. The cross has a swirl textured background and a slightly raised corpus. The reverse bears an inscription indicating that it was obtained from St. Joseph's Oratorio. The shiny finish makes the shadows in the picture. The cross is actually in very nice condition. It measures 7/8 inch across and 1 1/4 inches long. The necklace portion measures 32 inches. The trailer, including medal and cross, measures 6 inches. It comes in a cream plastic oval case with a raised image of St. Teresa. It includes an inscription indicating that it is from the Oratorio.
