This is a superb stylish figurine depicting a girl dancing, made by the German factory H,Schreiber and dating from the 1950`s. The figurine is finely modelled as a girl in a typical 1950`s dress, dancing with her arms outstretced, twirling round on one leg, on a plinth base, it has a lovely sense of movement and style, the skin and hair areas are finished in a matt effect whilst the clothing is in a lovely high gloss glazed finish, it is hand-painted in naturalistic colours. In all a really lovely stylish figurine from a top Europeam manufacturer!!! It measures 12" high and approx. 8" across at its widest.It is marked to the base with a blue backstamp "FOREIGN" AND "H.SCREIBER 9366" impressed. There is a break to the upmost pointed finger, otherwise in excellent condition,with no damage or restoration. Thanks for looking and good luck.
