This is a game-worn Lowell Spinners jersey from the 1996 season, purchased at the team store. Checking the roster, #12 was worn that season by Corey Jenkins. This jersey was not autographed at time of purchase. After tracking down that Jenkins wore it, I presented it to him at a Lowell Spinners game in June, 2004, where they honored Jenkins with Bobblehead night. Jenkins' autograph includes #57, which he was wearing at the time for the Miami Dolphins. Jenkins played in the Red Sox system until 1998, and left baseball in 1999 to return to college at the University of South Carolina. He played football and was the starting QB at South Carolina, and was drafted as a linebacker by the Miami Dolphins in 2003. He finished his football career with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League in 2007. Jersey is a Wilson size 44.
