M-1917 Remington Mfg M-1917 . This was used on both 1917 Enfield rifle and Trench Shot gun. Blade parkerized. Pommel and guard also parkerized. This bayonet is a Sur Charged Bayonet . By this I mean it started life as a British Bayonet for the British P14 rifle. Right side of blade marked Eagle head over 23 and Ordinance bomb over U.S. Left side of blade marked 1913 over 17 over Remington logo. No drain hole. Scabbard is the second model - leather type. Both the throat tip use metal. Excellent bayonet- Ask questions . Any reasonable offer will be reviewed. Thank you for looking at this auction
