Singing Days; The Worldf Music With rare, collectible frontispiece of: Maxfield Parrish's Harvest Ginn;Boston; 1936; square 8vo (7 3/4" X 6"); 224 pages, 1936. VG+/None. First edition. 224 pages, including index and Terms of Expression section. Teal green cloth with lettering and globe design on front cover, lettering and series design on spine, all in blue-green. Contains color frontispiece and 7 other color full page illustrations, with frontispiece being Parrish's 'Harvest' image from Colliers. Many other illustrations in black, white and blue-turquoise. This title not noted in Ludwig or most other Parrish bibliographies. A very collectable copy of this first edition, especially for the Parrish book completest. Normally found (when found) in worn condition with student markings, since it presumably was published for frequent school use. Considered a book for "all grades." Nice tight binding with NO splitting; age toning but NO foxing; Pencil notes (light and erasable) on front inside cover and frist free end paper. NO school or student ownership markings noted; nice cover color with little/no soiling; light wear/scuff to corners, edges spine ends; (not much - take note of photos).
