M1 Garand CMP American Black Walnut Stock Set With Metal & handguards,in like NEW condition. Stock set is in like new condition, made from American Black Walnut with linseed oil finish. Only used very briefly. Just long enough to get home with a new CMP rifle. The left side shows the CMP logo in a rectangle and the stock set closely resemble the WWII era M1 Garand stocks in fit & finish. No bulky areas or unsightly metal to wood fit when compared to other commercial Garand stocks on today's market. Only a couple of slight handling marks that must have come from the CMP installing the stock set on my Garand, then placing it in the rack, etc. along with the slight marks made from clamping a Garand action in the stock for a brief period of time. A very nice example of a CMP M1 Garand black Walnut stock set, both the handguards seem to be a good match. I took the action out of this stock which came on a Service Grade Special so you would better understand its orgin. The CMP is putting these new sets on almost all or their SA & HRA service grade special rifles. This American Black Walnut Stock Set includes: Stock, front & rear hand guards and all stock metal.
