This rare majolica cobalt blue vase with applied birds and nest would have been made in England or in Germany in the late 1800's. It measures 13 3/4" tall. As you can see from the photographs the vase is a nice deep cobalt blue with a bright yellow on the inside and on the base. Applied around the vase are prunus branches and in the branches t is a nest with three baby bird with their red mouths open. They are being fed by a large colorful bird. This vase is in excellent condition for its age. T are no chips, no cracks and no repairs. Please do email for any further information you may require and thanks for taking a look at my site.
