This is a presidential clock with F. D. R. featured in a bronzed finished statue over white metal. It says on the face MADE IN USA 1933. It was made by the UNITED ELECTRIC CLOCK CORP. BROOKLYN , NY .The clock movement is wind-up and not electric. It’s to my understanding that they offered electric or wind-up movements. If you look at the picture of the face of the clock you’ll notice a small ships wheel and a sailor that spins it. The clock is working but the little sailor isn’t moving. On the front of the casting is th Presidential seal and on the base it say F.D.R. Man of the Hour. On the back towards the bottom you’ll see the letter J. I presume that might be an initial of the person who did the casting? This piece is in very nice condition and you you need to know more email with questions.
