KARAMBIT TJABANG DAMASCUS - STAG DETAILS Condition : New Weight : +/- 165 gram Material : Handle = Stag Sheath = Hardwood Blades = Pamor Steel Overall Length : +/- 10" / 25 cm Karambit Blade Length : +/- 3" / 8 cm L Shape Blade Length : +/- 3.5" / 9 cm Handle Length : +/- 4" / 10 cm - I got this karambit a couple months ago and it's one of unique karambits in my collections. This karambit was one of a few karambits requested to make by a martial artist in West Java a couple of years ago. The craftsmen kept the blade since t was a crack and a hole on the L shape blade as you can see in the pics. After he showed me the blade, I asked him to make a nice carved wooden sheath and a handle from stag. - The sheath is made of hardwood. For the curve blade, the sheath is garuda carving. And for the L-shape blade, the sheath is human's finger carving. If you look closely, you'll see that the L-shape sheath is in the form of thumb and index finger. - The handle was carved with simple naga/dragon form Indonsian stag. - The curve blade and L-shape blade was made of traditional pamor steel and seem more rust resistant rather than the carbon steel. - Both blades are sharp and fully functional. The L-shape blade has L-shape cutting edge. - T is a hole and a crack in the L-shape blade. - The L-shape blade can function for stabbing and blocking. read more
