This lot, A MARBLE CONSIGNMENT , consists of a 1-29/32" (49 mm) Contemporary Art Glass Marble by Mark Matthews (signed "Matthews 1992") in its original pristine Mint condition. It has red and white bands spiraling against a dark chocolate brown background close to the surface of a clear base. Mark's work has been featured in the National Museum of American Art, the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Corning Museum of Glass, the Miami University Art Museum, and the Ohio Craft Museum, as well as in several books. His marbles are often considered the highlights of collections read more
