This fabulous Margot de Taxco vintage Mexican Silver Bracelet is an outstanding example of her work. It's extraordinary design shows the influence and her love for native Mexican motifs with it's Aztec inspired Art Deco style. A big dramatic bracelet, it is superbly crafted in thick heavy silver, each of the slightly curved links has a ornate high relief design with an oval opening at the center. The bracelet measures 6 7/8" long not including the tongue of the push in clasp by 1 7/16" wide and it weighs a heavy 79.7 grams of sterling silver. Hallmarked "Margot de Taxco", "5280" with "Sterling Made in Mexico" around the eagle stamp 16. It is in good original vintage condition with no signs of damage or repair, only minor sign of wear and a bit of tarnish ~ the button topped push in clasp is in good working order and there is an attached safety chain for added security. A stunning bracelet and an heirloom quality treasure that any Vintage Silver Lover will cherish.
