Thank you for looking. Selling is a superb lidded jar from my personal collection by NC potter/artist MARK HEWITT showing his newer stamp on bottom. This is not a apprentice piece! Please see all pics, they show condition and quality well. Made by Mark Hewitt. The jar is 15" tall and 10 1/2" wide at it's widest point of body. I can find NO FLAWS on this piece, SUPERB CONDITION. Jar has "THE WORKS" Runny drippy glaze, wonderful shaped fat body, white glass accents on two sides with attached double swirl details, nice carving all over jar and lid, beautiful to view from any angle/side. Mark Hewitt pottery is very much sought after by collectors as the best of the best. Would make a wonderful centerpiece to any Mark Hewitt/ NC pottery collection.
