When I was stationed in Germany back in the mid 90s I went to a toy show in Wiesbaden, Germany and seen this MArklin HO Gauge steam engine. I thought it would look good on my layout, so I bought it from the German vendor. It came with two boxes of Marklin track which I have to sell with the engine. One box is 10 pieces of straight track and one box is ten pieces of curve track. The track is all metal with a metal base that represents roadbed. The track is new in the boxes. The steam engine, I was told does run, but when I got it here to Iowa, Iwas told by a model railroader that this engine could not run on our track because it was made for Germany current and it would take a different transformed to run it, so it has been in storage ever since. I have decided to sell it and use the proceeds to buy other HO items. So what I have for sale is a cast, heavy German made Marklin steam engine with five drive axles and it is heavy and the tender is connected to the engine. It looks great and it looks like it was never run, but I CAN NOT guarantee that it does. I will package it in another engine box and package it very carefully to ship it to you, so if you are a Marklin Collector, this pieces may work for your collection. Thanks for looking and .
