ITEM DESCRIPTION An excellent, original 1930s B & W glossy photo of legendary Actress Marlene Dietrich.Size - 10" by 8".This is not a cheaply produced Fan Club photo, this is something a bit special !Signed in green ink and dedicated to Ingrid Holm. (please see 'Provenance' below). . CONDITION Pin holes to the corners with minimal loss/creasing.A lightish crease, approx. 4", runs horizontally along the bottom left corner but still in excellent condition for age. . PROVENANCE I purchased five signed photographs (Bing Crosby, Cary Grant, Gary Cooper, Marlene Dietrich & Walt Disney - all on Ebay at present) from an American dealer. He had purchased the entire estate of a long ago retired Swedish newspaperwoman who spent her retirement years in Central Florida.The ladies name was Ingrid Holm. I was told by the dealer that Mrs. Holm was, in the 1930s when this photograph was signed, a columnist for a Swedish Newspaper.She later became a War Correspondant for the same newspaper. ..
