Item Description and Bidding/ Shipping Cost and Policy/ Payment Instructions: One (1) Matchbox Lesney Leyland Royal Tiger Long Distance Luxury Coach 40 b2; metallic steel blue body, silver front trim, rear tail light trim; black painted metal base; green tinted plastic window insert; 9 x 20 silver plastic wheels, A type clip and slot base. Stannard code 1 of 8. This model is in very near mint condition. It was introduced in April, 1961 and was sold in this type and 2 other variations based upon wheel colour (Mack). There exist 8 distinct Stannard code types. This is a Stannard code 1 as described above. It is approximately 75 mm in overall length. Please carefully examine the high definition photos for the original paintwork detail. The window insert is clean and perfectly clear as new. The black paintwork on the metal base is perfect and the wheels show no evidence of use. There are no casting defects. This Royal Tiger Coach will display as new. Additional photographs can be sent to your e-mail address and questions will be entertained up to 4 hours prior to auction end. I make the complimentary box which will be sent with the model. They are constructed of correct weight tag board . They are laser printed so they will be somewhat glossier than an original Lesney era box, which was printed with lithography. This box is intended for display and storage purposes with a genuine Lesney Products model only.Please do not pay before we send you an invoice.
