Item Description and Bidding/ Shipping Cost and Policy/ Payment Instructions: One (1) Matchbox Lesney Vauxhall Cresta 22 b3 (1958 design), hard-to-find pale pink (Stannard) or pinkish cream (Mack) body, 9 x 20 grey plastic wheels, green tinted window insert. Stannard code 4. This fine model is in near mint plus code 1 condition from my personal collection. It was introduced in 1958 and was sold in this late issue and 14 other variations variations (Mack, 3rd ed., p 163). There exist 27 distinct Stannard code types. This model is a Stannard code 4, as above, dome and rivet axles, A type short bonnet post, and B type trim with silver trim applied to grille, head lights, and front/rear bumper. It is approximately 63 mm in overall length. Please carefully examine the high definition photos for the fine, nearly flawless code 1 virgin original paintwork detail. The black paintwork on the metal base is in close to immaculate condition. The 9 x 20 GPW show a no use. The tow hook is perfectly intact. There are no casting defects.
