Item Description and Bidding/ Shipping Cost and Policy/ Payment Instructions: One (1) Matchbox Lesney Vauxhall Victor Sedan 45 a3, 8 x 18 grey plastic wheels, dome and crimp axle ends, hand applied silver trim to front and rear, red rear, no window insert variation. Stannard code 4. This superb model is in excellent plus code 3 condition. It was introduced in 1958, 58 years ago, and was sold in 7 variations based upon body, window (if present), and wheel type/colour (Mack). There exist 23 distinct Stannard code types. This model is a Stannard code 4, pale yellow body, 8 x 18 GPW, D-C axles, no window insert, B type wider brace on rear post, C type bonnet interior with multiple cross braces, 4 pips, three rings; A type hand applied silver trim (before base fitted) to front and rear, red tail lights (yellow, 8x18 GPW, no win, D-C, B-C-A). It is approximately 61 mm in overall length. Please carefully examine the high definition photos for the superb, visually flawless code 3 original paintwork detail. At some point, I carefully, accurately, and invisibly refreshed some very minor storage issues to renew its appearance. T he grey plastic wheels show no wear. The tow hook is intact. There are no casting defects. T his 1958 issue Vauxhall Victor Sedan will display as new. They are constructed of correct weight tag board, square and functionally perfect, fresh and colourful, meticulously detailed inside and out . They are laser printed so they will be somewhat glossier than an original Lesney era box, which was printed with lithography.
