Matched Pair NOS Amperex USN-CEP 6922 Tubes Gold Pins Please click on the thumbnails above for a larger version of the image. Up for sale is a Matched Pair of new, but old stock Amperex USN-CEP 6922 Tubes with Gold Pins and a large halo getter. These tubes were made at the Amperex plant in NY for the US Navy in 1965, sealed in a parts box for the CU-872A/U Multicoupler. They all come from the same production run 7L9 *5C. T were 5 of these tubes in each sealed box but this listing is for multiple pairs of tubes. All of these tubes are matching (in terms of manufacturing date and run) so if you buy two sets of matching tubes all four tubes will be exactly the same for example. We are not opening these boxes and testing each tube but we will guarantee these to work perfectly for 60 days. They are rated for 10,000 hours of use and they compare in sound to the white PQ labeled tubes made in the US.Part of the reason we do not want to take these out of their original box is because the label on the tubes is very fragile. I would suggest tearing open the box along the seam because if you push the tube out of the box you risk damaging the label as I did when I pushed two of the tubes out. The pics are of two of the tubes we have in stock out of boxes I tore open. I will only send unopened boxes.These tubes were stored for the last 45 years triple boxed. We opened a sealed box that contained several boxes of the parts kits sealed as well. Inside the parts kits the tubes are each boxed. We acquired them from a US Navy vet that was in radio division and collected the old equipment he used. These tubes were surplus when he acquired them and they spent their life in his possession, stored in the basement of his house.
