Matriarch Lady Tinted Ambrotype Antique 19thC Victorian Dickensian Photograph This is a quirky old Victorian ambrotype photograph. It is a portrait of an elder lady, who looks of stern temperament - rather a female matriarch! It is attractively housed in a case. It measures 9.5cm by 8.5cm. The ambrotype is in good condition with no scratches or breakages, although there are a few areas of wear. It is housed in a traditional frame and then inset into a piece of wood - all of which is in fair condition but with some small rubs. Whilst I feel I hav e set a fair price for this piece based on its quality and condition, I am more than open to reasonable offers as I would love for it to find a nice new home. Questions are more than welcome. Please take a look at my sellers page to find out more information about me and the service I provide as well as my excellent record of feedback. Be sure to add me to your favourites list ! I have many other beautiful and curious items up for sale and would substantially discount postage on multiple purchases. Check out my other items ! It will be packed with the upmost care, using a generous amount of bubblewrap and cardboard packaging. To prevent any movement it its box during transit.
