Up for bid is this 3 oz McCREEDY & WIDERFELT CITY DRUG STORE from FLORENCE COLO. This bottle is 4 7/8 inches tall and has a tooled lip. It has the cool owl sitting on the crescent and dates from 1894 to 1901. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or dings, with only a slight bit of inner stain and several very light scratches overall. A light tumbling or cleaning would bring this bottle to near mint condition. I mention and show everything for accuracy. J.C. McCreedy and W.S. Widerfelt were partners in Florence from 1894 to 1901. This excellent conditioned medicine from Florence is also 1 of 5 bottles with owls in Colorado and would make an excellent addition to anyone’s Colorado town, owl, drug or medicine bottle collection.
