This one's in virtually mint condition! And it's so beautiful! Welcome to our auction. Today you're bidding on a single ruby red depression era water tumbler from the Rock Crystal pattern by McKee. We especially enjoy this pattern in ruby because it's such a rich looking glassware. The pattern harks back to the ornate glasswares of the Victorian era; and the quality of the Rock Crystal pattern was just so much nicer than many of its contemporaries. This tumbler actually measures 4" tall. To say that it's in good condition would be an understatement. We've examined it closely and found it to be completely free from any chips, cracks, waterstain, or other damage. Even the ground bottom shows only moderate wear with none of the small chips or fleabites commonly found. The pattern is crisp, clean, and distinct, a credit to the superior mould work of this pattern. Collectors are aware that Rock Crystal in ruby frequently suffers from "inclusions", bits of unmelted silica or other debris in the glass that often times show up as yellow or orange flecks inside the glass. This piece has none of these. Its color is a rich deep ruby red throughout. This tumbler should easily pass muster with even the most discriminating collectors. Wouldn't it make a perfect stocking stuffer for the collector you love this holiday season? Thanks for visiting read more
