MID CENTURY MODERN SWEDISH ART GLASS GREEN SOMMERSO VASE SIGNED STROMBERGSHYTTAN designer is either Gunnar Nylund or Asta Stromberg, 1959-1963. Gunnar Nylund , best known for his pottery on Rörstrand, worked for Strömbergshyttan 1952-1956 and as a freelance between 1967 - 1975. He drew lots of glass models for Strömbergshyttan during his first period 1952-56. This piece: Beautiful elegant modern art design clear crystal with forest green sommerso technique in the middle. Made in 1950's to 1960's, Its in good vintage condition. There is a small flea bite chip in the rim and some scratches on the base otherwise beautiful and rare piece of mid century art glass.
