Mechanical Marionette Golfer Paper Doll Toy Valentine Brundage ImageThis listing is a scarce 11 1/2" mechanical die-cut embossed paper toy. It appears to be one of the Father Tuck's Marionettes" c. 1910, although not marked Raphael Tuck. Illustration attributed to Frances Brundage. It depicts a young boy golfer with a To My Valentine heart on his chest. He holds a golf ball in one hand and presumably once had a golf club in the other, that he was removing from the bag. It is activated by a pull cord that appears to be original to the piece. Condition: with exception of missing golf club; overall excellent. See additional images below.
