Medicom - Shaw Brothers 2000 12-13" action figures! Super Inframan + Skeleton Warrior with 3" Koobo figures/VCD Box set from The Super Inframan (1975) Inframan and Skeleton Warrior are probably the rarest Kaiju figures ever released. They are basically 12" scale but with antenna and horns are probably 13" high. I originally heard that they were limited to 300 pieces, other accounts state that they were limited to only 100. It could be that it was 150 pieces of each - I cannot confirm which is the accurate account but they are clearly very rare in any event. The two figures were released in conjunction with the Asian release of the DVD as a Hong Kong convention exclusive in 2000. I bought these from a dealer the same year of the convention. They have been in storage in a smoke-free environment ever since and I have never removed the figures from the box. The pictures you see are mine, with the outer slip case only removed on a couple occasions to inspect the figures and take these pics. Also included is the box set with two 3" Koobo figures and VCD. I removed the VCD once to see if it would play in my DVD player (it did - although this can vary from player to player due to format capabilities) but it is still in mint condition (or near-mint if you will just due to the fact that I touched it). The 3" Koobo figures were never removed from the box and remain mint. Boxes show minor shelf wear. I could probably get away with just saying the boxes are in "great condition" or something like that, but since I am asking a high price I want to address this issue carefully so potential buyers are completely informed. You can see them in the pictures and they basically look in new condition. However I want to emphasize that they have been handled on a few occasions and stored over the course of a decade, so (very) minor dents, scuffs or scratches probably exist upon close inspection. You must accept this if you are going to buy these because I am not going to accept a return based on anal-retentive criticism of the condition of the boxes. I am letting these go along with other Kaiju figures as well because I have only ever stored them and never had the space to display them - so I have finally decided to sell them with the hopes they will go into a good home for display. I am not selling out of desperation, so I will not reduce the price and, more importantly folks, I will NOT SPLIT THIS SET so you can just buy the Inframan figure (so please do not waste my time and yours with emails asking me to do that). As I have said when I listed this set previously if it does not sell after a while I will take it down and relist at a later date at the same price. Sooner or later a collector will be willing to pay my price. Speaking of the price I think that, although expensive, my asking price is in line with what these figures have sold for individually. In fact, considering the rarity factor and that this set has all three exclusive items from the convention I think the price is very reasonable. I should probably ask more! Smoke-free environment.
