Meito China SILVER PINE - 98 Piece Set - Service for 12 The item up for bid is a wonderful set of Meito SILVER PINE China. The Silver Pine pattern was produced by the Meito China Company in the late 1950's. It consists of a white background with a grey/silver pine cones and branches pattern. This set contains 98 pieces. A breakdown of the pieces is as follows: 12 Dinner Plates (10-3/8") 12 Salad Plates (7-7/8") 12 Bread and Butter Plates (6-1/2") 12 Rimmed Fruit/Sauce Bowls (5-1/2") 12 Rimmed Soup Bowls (7-1/2") 18 Cups, Flat (2") 12 Saucers (6") 1 Sugar Bowl with Lid (2-5/8") 1 Creamer (3-7/8") 2 Round Vegetable Serving Bowls (8-1/8") 1 Oval Serving Platter (16-3/4") 1 Round Chop Plate (12-1/8") 1 Gravy Boat with Attached Underplate (7") All the pieces are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, stains, repairs, and little to no scratches. I don't even think this set was ever used. For a reference, this set if you purchased it from Replacements, Ltd. would come to about $1260.00, but this set can be yours for much much less. This is an absolutely beautiful set and would make a fantastic starter set for any family's Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. Be sure to check out my other auctions and save on shipping.
