This is a stunning Art Deco cake plate by Melba Ware. The pattern is "Dolly Varden". This is a lovely pattern with the crinoline lady holding a pot of tulips. Full Melba Ware backstamp along with the Registration No 739443. This pretty cake plate measures 9.5 inches (24cms) handle to handle. There is some gilding rubbed, also a very small graze chip on the underneath of the plate which can not be seen from the front but mentioned for honesty. Thank you for looking.
