This is illustrated with steel plates and maps in colors. I do not know the date of this printing but it was entered, according to Act Of Congress,1873, in the office of the Librarian of Congress , Washinton D.C.by John E. Potter and Company. The condition of this book is not the best or by far not the worst I've seen. The condition of the leather cover is alittle rough. The cover front and back as well as the spines cover are detached from the book. The spines leather cover is missing about two inches from the bottom. The corner of the covers are worn through to the board. The metal brass? clasps are still are firmly attatched in the front The back ones are also there but are beginning to pull free. You can put the cover back on and close the clasps. The first page is detached but still with the Bible. The next several pages are brittle and not in the best of shape. When you get to the preface the pages are in better shape. The pages seem firmly attached to the inner binding. The pages are browning with age. read more
