This auction contains a Mexican production Kusan CH P No.37211 (Chihuahua Pacifico) Kusan Caboose. It was made in the Plasticos Leon, S. A. Apartado 1411, Monterrey, N.L., Mexico. It was produced about 1964 and is in very good condition (C- 6) from the factory in the original box (C-9). This car was purchased off the shelf in Monterrey in 1968. It is new old stock – never run. It is painted blue & white over a red molded shell with crisp black and white lettering. The car is in Very Good C-6 condition except as noted; light scratch to the hand rail with light signs of handling – see photos. It is in the original Kusan box which is in near mint condition. It is pictured in the book - Greenberg's Guide to Kusan Trains by John O. Bradshaw on page 25 & mentioned on page 40. One photo in the book is in black & white and does not capture the bright blue & white color.
