Offered is a very colorful and graphic MICKEY MOUSE & HIS FRIENDS LINEN-LIKE BOOK from 1936. The LINEN-LIKE series of books were printed on heavy paper stock, coated and textured to resemble cloth. They were much more durable than the other contemporary story books of the period. Printed in 1936 by Disney's publisher, Whitman Publishing of Racine Wis, this book measures 10"x 12 1/2" and its 18 pages are filled with vintage Disney illustrations that include a Long-Billed DONALD DUCK, PLUTO, CLARABELLE & HORACE, and of course, MINNIE. The book is in good shape for its age. T is age soiling on the covers, some corner wear, and a 2"x 3/4" surface area is rubbed off near the right border. Below that, t was some pencil writing which was erased at some point leaving a lighter area. T is spine wear but the book is tight and completely intact. the interior pages have some light surface soiling as well as can be seen. A unique and rare early MICKEY book!
