A mid 1900's vintage El Paso Saddlery cartridge belt with 36 .44 or .45 caliber cartridge loops.2 1/2" wide, 46 1/2" long,40" from the buckle to the middle hole.Excellent original condition with no modifications or resewing.Nickel clip point North & Judd buckle that is affixed with a Chicago screw so it can be changed if desired.Old oval maker's stamp that says "SADDLERY EL PASO COMPANY" as shown.I sent photos of this belt to EPS & no one there had been there long enough to date the belt.I have EPS catalogs dating back to the 1960's-this belt precedes them. The hardware, hand sewing & style of floral tooling say 1940's or 50's-if you don't agree, send it back for a full refund.Guaranteed to be as represented-the photos show details, front & back, made of stiff, heavy skirting leather, all loops are intact with a couple showing small nicks,no cracking or crazing, all stitching & hardware is intact & strong,no major or minor flaws,a really fine example of a vintage cartridge belt from an old southwest saddlery. Please ask any questions you'd like. Here's a link to a better photo of the maker's mark./albums/d177/turnerriver/DSC_0008-19.jpg I'll try again-here's the link to the photo of the maker's mark-just copy & paste in your browser window./albums/d177/turnerriver/DSC_0007-27.jpg
