This is a beautiful mid-century modernist Sommerso Bud Vase made by Strombergshyttan Glass Works in Sweden. It was designed by Asta Stromberg in the late 1950's. The vase is made of clear and amethyst (lavender) submerged glass and has a finely polished base and pontil. It is hand signed "Stromberg B895". It measures 8-1/2" tall X approximately 1-1/4" wide and in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, scratches or cloudiness. Any questions, please email. Thanks!
