Up for auction is this USED and missing some wood accents, Elgin Sunburst wall clock. Direct to you from the middle of last century. The works are marked ELGIN and it takes a size "C" battery. I have inserted said size battery and the works don't seem to be moving. I know that you can purchase the device at a craft store so that shouldn't be a problem as far as getting it to keep time I'd think. It is however missing 5 of the wood spikes (they measure approximately 9 and a half inches long) that are bursting out of the sides of the clock. Everytime I looked for them on ebay, they would sell before I had the chance to get them. I'm giving up obviously so here is someone elses chance to inherit the fun. There is some visible rust on the brass rings and other areas of the clock but to me, it added that vintage look to my home that I so remembered from my grandfathers living room when I used to admire it's style. The face of the clock has some paint worn off as well which may be visible in the pictures, hopefully. EVERYTHING is sold "AS IS" unless specified. EVERYTHING IS USED UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED!
