Vintage WWII US M1 Garand Leather ScabbardThis is an original vintage US military leather scabbard for a WWII M1 Garand. Designed to fit onto a motorbike or other vehicles to keep the M1 Garand secure but easily accessible. This scabbard is made from thick brown leather with tan stitching. On the bottom of the scabbard there is a eyelet for draining. This item has straps with leather loops that are riveted into place. The metal shroud that protects the operating rod is firmly riveted to the scabbard and is in good condition. It is in overall very good condition considering the age and use in the field.This scabbard is marked "U.S. J.Q.M.D", "1942" and "J.B..". It will make a great addition to your military vehicle or collection.
