Up for bid is this 7 3/4 inch, set of 4, Wine Glass stemware, in the Gallia design, by Miller Rogaska, made in Slovenia. Each piece is etched with the name Rogaska. New never used in excellent condition, and also has a sticker with the name Rogaska, made for R.H. Macy 1990. John Miller founded Miller Rogaska Crystal in 1984. Prior to this venture, John served as the founding president of Waterford USA for nearly twent-five years. He is credited as being one of the industry's pioneers in bringing fine European crystal stemware and giftware to America. John Miller's inspiration for establishing the company came after visiting the Rogaska factory in what was, at the time, Yugolsavia. The factory, located in the spa village of Rogaska, Slovenia, had been producing full lead, handmade crystal for over 75 years. John was so impressed by the quality and craftsmanship of the product that he came out of his brief retirement to launch a line of crystal, combining his name with that of this world-class crystal manufacturer. Reed & Barton, one of America's oldest and most celebrated silver and giftware companies, purchased Miller Rogaska crystal in 1996, enhancing the market strength of the Miller Rogaska Crystal brand.
