SO PLEASE ENJOY AND HAVE FUN WITH THEM! ITEM DESCRIPTION: This is an Antique Millersburg PRIMROSE Collar Based Ruffled Bowl made in the early 1900's. The Base Glass color is PURPLE. The iridescence is highly reflective RADIUM...extremely nice...with flashy, vibrant Rainbow Multi-Color highlights throughout the pattern details...Brilliant Silver through the ruffles. The visual qualities of piece are extremely pleasing...super looking piece on display...it really stands out! I have shown as many angles as I can cram into 12 photographs...please look them over and enjoy. Dark areas are shadows and reflections only. It is impossible to photograph Radium pieces outside and not have shadows cast. If you have been hunting one of these Gems with Brilliant Radium iridescence and Colorful visual qualities...or perhaps you are fortunate to own one, but have been looking for a different iridescent look or considering an upgrade from the one you own...look this one over and give it serious consideration. There are no markings on this piece whatsoever. It has the starred base. It is antique Millersburg at its finest. It is every bit as Gorgeous as the photos show. My photos are taken outside in natural indirect sunlight. I never use a flash or props. I never enhance photos, never have, never will. I aim to show you the best iridescent color the piece offers. If the piece looks awesome in the photos...that is because...it is! What you see is what you will get! ITEM MEASUREMENTS: The piece is 9 3/4 inches wide at the widest point. 3 inches tall at the tallest point. BASE GLASS COLOR: PURPLE ITEM CONDITION: There are NO CHIPS, CRACKS or REPAIRS on this Vibrant, Brilliant Millersburg Ruffled Bowl. An Superb piece of antique Millersburg glass! THE BASE: The mold seams are barely there to the touch....nice and smooth. I can't make out any shelf wear on the bottom of the base...extraordinary for this antique glass. The piece sits flat and level on a flat surface. THE INTERIOR: I can't make out any wear on the display surface of this piece...extraordinary to say the very least. FAR above average condition and the Radium iridescence is absolutely beautiful. Elegant, Shimmering details and Superb visual characteristics. THE EXTERIOR: I can't make out any wear on the exterior surface. The Fine Cut Heart back pattern is very sharp making it easy to display. THE EDGE: The Edge Treatment and details on the piece are very well done. The piece is well formed in every regard...the ruffles are well formed and even around the bowl. The saw tooth edge is well formed and all of the teeth have been accounted for. The only thing I found to mention on the entire piece is a tiny pen-head sized flake on one tooth, shown clearly in photo 8 next to the end of a ball point pen for easy reference to any ball point pen in your home. You can see how tiny it is...completely insignificant, in my opinion, on a gorgeous piece, colorful and showy, that has obviously been extremely well taken care of. The photographs clearly show the piece has been very well maintained over a century of time. There not not many of these around with visual qualities that can match it. Truly a beautiful piece of antique Millersburg and an exquisite piece of this century old glass. That is all I can find on this Vivid, Elegant Antique Millersburg Ruffled Bowl.
