This is a very rare c1890s excellent condition "WAGON AXLE GREASE CAN" from the Standard Oil Co. of California. This grease can was used underground to grease the mining ore car wheels and axles. It was found underground in an abandon 1890s mine and has a very cool looking wagon wheel on the front in blue writing. It is 5" wide and 3" high and in excellent condition with bright colors and no damage because it hasn't seen daylight or moisture in over 120 years. If you collect unique underground mining artifacts or old wagons... Or own an ore car this is cool..
