Up for auction here is one freshly reconed JBL model 2226H 15" bass speaker. Original frame reconed with all new moving parts - it is basically a new driver -at least functionally. The 2226H features a cast frame, massive Ferrite magnet structure with a rubber edge cover cover and an edgewound 4" voice coil on a heavy ribbed cone. One of JBL's most popular and useful 15" drivers, the 2226H excelles in just about any 15" application you can think of. These speakers are prized by bass players, but also work really well in all sorts of 15" bass applications - woofer in two and three way compact systems, PA mid bass drivers, larger wedge monitors, etc. The 2226H is optimised for high output with excellent bass response. 8 ohm driver is unused and unmounted since being reconed - ready to put to work as a high power, high output upgrade for your bass amp, or in many other pro audio applications. Rated by JBL for 600 watts power handling.
