Iam selling my favorite garden goodies!!! These are items I have beendecorating my shop and garden with for the last 20 years. It seems like it is time to unload some amazing pieces and actually price these treasured finds to sell. This is a good old-fashioned auction - no reserve. Starting bid is RIDICULOUS. My prices are always 50% to 75% off, I price my items low to inspire spirited auctions. Anytime I do this, I know I am taking a chance...but lets have fun and see what happens. DESCRIPTION : Francis of Assisi was a poor man who astounded and inspired the Church by taking the gospel literally,by actually following all that Jesus said and did, joyfully, without limit and without a mite of self-importance . Saint Francis is commonly known as the patron saint of animals, particularly birds but also the environment. My garden shop customers just love the way he is staring down at the small bird perched on his arm, reflecting in natures wonder. It is perfectly vintage mission style . And of course plenty of traditional characteristics such as friar-cut, cloak, dangling rosary and the bird . This statue measures 25" tall and is 6 "wide and weighs a heavy 20 lbs ., give or take but w hat is truly unusual is the statue is more square than round but is obviously very tall and slender.
