No any major damages. There is an original natural wooden crack around tooth. In addition, there is a small lacquer painting-peeled spot around the under side of the nose (Please refer to the last 2 pictures to check them.) Size L 8.3"(21.0cm) x W 16.3"(41.5cm) x H 9.6"(24.5cm) Discription of the item This is a vintage Japanese woodcarving lion mask ornament for the Japanese traditional lion dance, Shishi-mai, which was made about 30-40 years ago. It's called "Shishi-gashira". The mouth can be closed and opened, and the ears can be removal. This mask is made of natural wood. A red cushion is also included. The origianl wooden box with a signature of the artisan is also included.
