Model 1871 U.S. Navy bayonet blade for the Remington Rolling Block. Blade has markings of "USN", "G.G.S.", and "1875". They have been partially polished away, but are still visible. There is some corrosion on both sides of the blade at the tip. Believe it or not, this fine old bayonet was being used as a ceremonial sword by the local Oddfellows chapter, thus the goofy tip on the scabbard. The original handle was missing. Sold as is.
