Up for auction is this pair of Diamond lounge chairs designed originally in 1952 by Harry Bertoia for Knoll. These lounge chairs are constructed of welded steel with rods in bonded rilsan, a very durable adhesive-fused nylon-dipped finish. We think these chairs would make an excellent addition to any modern interior or exterior. Chair measures: 33.5w x 28d x 30"h We have rated the condition of this piece excellent - a 8.5 out of a perfect 10. T are NO breaks in any of the welds. The glides are begining to chip and lose paint. This is easily fixed in a few hours with some sandpaper and flat black spray paint. T are a few flea bites to rilsan coat but you really got to look for them. These chairs have plenty of life left in them and with a little work are ready to enjoy for another 50 years Please see our other Mid Century Modern listings in our Ebay store!
