You are bidding on a gorgeous, turquoise-colored, porcelain Majolica trinket box plus tray made in Italy. Atop the lid of the box sits a lovely songbird, colored in bright yellow, navy blue, brown and white. He sits on a branch atop green leaves. Among the many decorative touches, the top edge of the box as well as the tray it sits on are edged with a very attractive, braided golden-brown trim. The two longer sides of the box are adorned with beautiful applied pink roses, branches and green leaves. The box and tray are a very nice, larger size, measuring 8 inches (20cm) long -- perfect either for display or for storing treasured items such as jewelry. The box is stamped with "Mottahedeh Meuseum Reproductions - Made in Italy" on its underside. It is in perfect, brand-new condition and has never been used. T are no chips, dings, cracks or repairs. Due to its fragile nature, this item will be professionally packed & shipped by Fedex Ground - no USPS. The professional packing adds about $5 to the shipping cost (already reflected in the eBay shipping calculator).
