Museum Quality Extra Large, Extra-Fine Workmanship and Details Northwest Native American Indian Nuu-chah-Nulth Salish Woven Cedar Root Storage Basket with Tightly Fitting Domed Knob-Top Lid and All-Over Imbrication. This impressive vintage storage basket is in original condition. Please view all photos to see details of condition. Size 19" tall, 18" in diameter at the top, 13 1/2" diameter at the bottom. The exterior has an age-acquired darkened patina. The inside is spotless, as shown in the photo. Please note the perfect condition of the tightly-fitting domed lid with woven knob top, with no damage at all to the fitted rim with braided edge. Also, the inner rim over which the lid fits, is in perfect condition with no tears or frays. Both handles are sturdy and perfectly intact. This is truly a rare collector's basket, considering age, size, degree of decoration, skill of workmanship, and present condition. Will be carefully packed and shipped. Questions? Please email.
